- Sold Gearhart homes for sale in January: (1) 2030 N. Ocean Ave in Gearhart. Sold for $1,750,000 on 1/16/2009.
- No vacant land sales for Jan.
- No condo sales for Jan.
In summary, sales for January didn’t get us off to a real strong start for 2009. I think that will start to change next month, as the current buyer activity feels like it was last summer. Lots of showings, few buyers writing offers but for the most part I think the majority are getting ready but not quite confident enough to pull the trigger. We’re seeing opportunities in Gearhart right now that haven’t happened for almost 5 years, and to top it all off rates continue to hover around the 5% mark.
